Drawing a torii gate is a good way to follow your perspective and line work. Torii gates are conventional Japanese gates that mark the doorway to a Shinto shrine. They’re usually product of wooden or stone, and include two pillars with a crossbar on high. The pillars are normally barely flared on the backside, and the crossbar is barely curved.

To attract a torii gate, begin by drawing two vertical traces for the pillars. Then, draw a horizontal line for the crossbar. Join the ends of the crossbar to the tops of the pillars with two extra vertical traces. Lastly, add a small roof to the highest of the gate.
